Nepal’s first match of T20 World Cup 2024 will be held against Netherlands at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 4 at 9:30 PM IST. Nepal, who qualified for the T20 World Cup for the first time since 2014, finds itself in a challenging Group D, alongside three Test-playing nations. The group comprises Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, and Bangladesh. It confirms, Nepal will be playing a first-ever T20I match against Sri Lanka and South Africa.

The Rhinos returns to the T20 World Cup after ten years, after finishing second in the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier last year. They were defeated by Oman in the final of the tournament.

A total of 55 matches will be played in the tournament in nine different venues, with six located in the West Indies (Kensington Oval in Barbados, Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, Providence Stadium in Guyana, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in St Lucia, Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent) and three in the USA (Eisenhower Park in New York, Lauderhill in Florida, and Grand Prairie in Texas).
