PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan last played for the side on April 9 following which he has warmed the benches owing to an injury

Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan is expected to return to action on May 1 when the side takes on CSK. Dhawan has been on the sidelines over the last few games, having picked up an injury earlier in IPL 2024. PBKS bowling coach Sunil Joshi reveals that Dhawan’s recovery is on track and that he is likely to make his comeback on May 1 while he will miss the clash against KKR.

When will Shikhar Dhawan return as PBKS skipper?

“He was in form and we really missed his batting services. We saw him batting yesterday, going through the nets and everything,” Joshi said on the eve of their match against KKR.

“He is on the road to recovery. Hopefully, he should be fit for the next game ,” he said.
