The former India batter gave a befitting reply in response to a journalist who attempted to troll Raina over Afridi’s appointment as the T20 WC ambassador. It looks like Afridi got into damage control mode immediately as he now reveals how he fixed the issue.

“Suresh Raina and I have shared many cricketing moments, and he’s a good person,” Afridi said on his YouTube channel.
“Sometimes, lighthearted banter happens. After seeing his post on social media, I spoke with him, and he understood the situation like a younger brother. He agreed to delete the tweet. It’s all good; these things happen. Great individuals acknowledge and rectify their mistakes,” he added.

Raina’s banter with the Pakistan journalist came weeks ahead of the high-octane India vs Pakistan clash on June 9. The arch-rivals will lock horns in the group stage match of the T20 World Cup in New York.
