Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar on Friday picked a somewhat controversial India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. Manjrekar, is known for his unabashed opinion on social media. In a team selection episode with Star Sports, left out a number of probables including Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill.

Kohli has been in fine form this IPL, and is the Orange Cap holder with 430 runs in 9 matches. Other stars to Manjrekar has excluded are Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill.
