Team Delhi Capitals are bolstered with the return of pacers Mukesh Kumar & Anrich Nortje in their playing XI, who had missed the team’s first match vs PBKS, that they had lost by four wickets on Saturday. Not just that, Ishant Sharma was also ruled out for the match after suffering an ankle injury during the match.
Shai Hope, who made his IPL debut in the last match, was out due to back spasms. While the top order largely remained the same with Warner and Mitch Marsh, Ricky Bhui replaced West Indian Hope. Middle-order will comprise of skipper Rishabh Pant, followed by Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel.
The fast-bowling looks solid under Nortje, with Khaleel Ahmed in the team as well, while the spin department will be led by Kuldeep Yadav. Delhi, after an initial hiccup will be looking to make the most of the match, and register their first win of the season, having faltered once already.
