Rishabh Pant’s return date for IPL 2024 is confirmed. After missing IPL 2023, the Delhi Capitals skipper is back this time. Pant will lead his side and play an active part in IPL 2024. However, he won’t keep wickets for the Delhi outfits. Pant is expected to return to IPL 2024 on 23rd March when Delhi play their first match in Mohali against Punjab Kings
Delhi Capitals won’t have home advantage in their opening 2 games. Since the WPL 2024 will conclude in Delhi, the venue won’t be ready and will require at least 10 days. As a result, Delhi Capitals won’t play their first 2 matches in Delhi.
Since his near fatal injury back in December of 2022, Rishabh Pant has been recovering and recuperating at the NCA in Bengaluru. Following his long surgeries, Pant is continuing his rehab in Alur. But with IPL 2024, now just a month away, this return date is confirmed.

- 1. PBKS vs DC – 23rd March – 3:30 PM (Mohali)
- 2. RR vs DC – 28th March – 7:30 PM (Jaipur)
- 3. DC vs CSK – 31st March – 7:30 PM (Vizag)
- 4. DC vs KKR – 3rd April – 7:30 PM (Vizag)
- 5. MI vs DC – 7th April – 3:30 PM (Mumbai)
Though just 5 match schedules have been released, there are just 3 home matches for Delhi Capitals. DC will play their first match in Mohali and the remaining 2 matches at Vizag.
