Meanwhile, Virat Kohli – on the 2nd position – has a strike rate of 141.40. Both batters have scored two half-centuries so far in the tournament. However, Parag trumps Kohli in terms of sixes hit so far, with 12 to his name while the latter has smashed only 7 sixes so far.

“For 3-4 years I haven’t performed well (in the IPL.) When the performances are not coming, you get back to the drawing board. I practised really hard, I have practised these kind of scenarios. Dad likes to watch everything from home, he likes to analyse everything, but my mom is here,” Riyan Parag said after the match.
