Records continue to tumble in IPL 2024. The highest-ever powerplay total (125), highest-ever IPL score (287), and most runs scored in a match (523), all have been broken in the past month. Just after the first inning of the KKR vs PBKS match, two more of these records went down.
Punjab Kings skipper Sam Curran has given away 60 runs in his four overs, the most by an IPL captain. Fascinatingly, Curran breaks Pat Cummins’ record of 55, which he had recorded just yesterday (April 25) against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
