Quite a few Indian legendary players have achieved this feat in the 50-over format of the game. Now adding to the list, Dhawan is the 10th Indian batter to put this feather in his cap. At the top of the list stands Sachin Tendulkar who has massed 18426 runs in ODIs in his long and illustrious career.

Though many batters of many countries have achieved this feat, it becomes quite special for Dhawan who has now essentially been brought down to a one-format player. Dhawan who is confidently playing ODIs for India is eager to continue his stint and eyes a mega performance in ICC 2023 World Cup. Against Zimbabwe, Dhawan started batting brilliantly as he went on to score his 38th ODI fifty.
The Men in Blue won the toss and opted to bowl first. India under skipper KL Rahul started the game on a fine note as India started to scalp wickets at regular intervals. In the end, the hosts were ultimately bowled out for 189 thereby giving India a low target of 190 to chase.
As for the Indian contingent, Axar Patel, Prasidh Krishna, and Deepak Chahar all picked up 3 wickets each to wreak a heavy blow to the opposition. Returning from injury Deepak Chahar played a good game. He bowled 7 overs where he gave away just 27 runs and picked up 3 wickets.
