Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), received medical attention for a heatstroke during his visit to Ahmedabad for an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. Thankfully, Khan was discharged from the hospital on Thursday evening.

Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to Ahmedabad’s K D Hospital on Wednesday after experiencing heatstroke symptoms. While the hospital has not released details of his condition, reports suggest he made a swift recovery and was discharged later that same day.

Heatwave woes in Ahmedabad

Khan’s visit to Ahmedabad coincided with a severe heatwave gripping Gujarat. The city sweltered under temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) for the past few days.

Despite the heat, Shah Rukh Khan’s spirits remained high. Following KKR’s emphatic win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1, Khan celebrated with a victory lap on the field alongside his children, Suhana and AbRam.
