T20 World Cup’s official broadcaster Star Sports on Thursday released a promotional video for the tournament involving India and Pakistan. India will take on Pakistan at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9th. Ahead of the mega outing, Star Sports released a video on their social media channel highlighting different moments of the two teams in the T20 World Cup.
The promo posted on social media involves moments from different IND vs PAK match over the last two decades. While the video starts with Misbah Ul Haq’s famous scoop shot that was caught by Sreesanth which handed India the inaugural 2007 T20 World Cup trophy.
The video also shows Shahid Afridi hitting the winning runs for Pakistan in the 2009 World Cup. It also showcases Virat Kohli’s brilliant innings against their arch rivals at the T20 World Cup 2022. Kohli single-handedly won India the match by playing an innings of 82 from 53 balls.
