Delhi Capitals pacer Rasikh Salam Dar has been fined for breaching the Code of Conduct during the game against Gujarat Titans. The incident occurred in the 19th over when Rasikh celebrated wildly after getting rid of GT’s Sai Kishore. Kishore had taken Salam to the cleaners earlier, having smashed him for four consecutive sixes before the bowler struck.

DC pacer fined for breaching Code of Conduct

The IPL released a statement indicating that Dar committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. He acknowledged the offence and accepted the match referee’s sanction. It was highlighted that for Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the Match Referee is considered final and binding.
