IPL 2023 Final: The crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad erupted in joy when Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss against Gujarat Titans on Monday. MS Dhoni elected to field first, in the all-important IPL 2023 Final. GT enter the IPL 2023 as favourites, but with possibility of rain around in Ahmedabad, the decision looks in favour of CSK.
However all is not lost for Gujarat Titans. The defending champions has a reason to smile as CSK might have won the toss, but is chasing history in Ahmedabad.
In the last eight matches at the venue, teams batting first has won the game five times. This also includes the Qualifier 2 between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans at the same venue.
