PBKS Playing XI vs CSK: Changes in Punjab Kings Team
Punjab Kings’ regular captain, Shikhar Dhawan, missed out on action due to a shoulder injury. However, he returned for the game against LSG in Mohali. In the PBKS vs LSG match, Punjab Kings’ bowling appeared weak as LSG smashed 257 runs in just 20 overs, which is also the second-highest total runs in a single inning in IPL history.
The Punjab Kings’ ace bowler, Arshdeep Singh conceded 54 runs in 4 overs while taking just 1 wicket. Every other bowler also had a rough night, as they conceded runs at an economy rate of more than 12 runs. The only exception was Rahul Chahar, who conceded 29 runs in 4 overs at an economy rate of 7.20. The only change in the bowling unit is Gurnoor Brar being replaced by Harpreet Brar against CSK.
While discussing the batting, opener Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh got out early against LSG. However, Atharva Taide played a splendid inning of 66 runs in just 36 balls.
