The match between RCB and CSK is being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, which is the home ground of RCB. At the toss, RCB had won and elected to field first. CSK’s star batter Ruturaj Gaikwad got out early in the third over, leaving the team on just 16 runs. However, Rahane and opener Devon Conway then took charge of the innings and put on a solid partnership.
The right-hand batter’s innings was eventually cut short when he was dismissed with CSK on 90 runs. Despite his dismissal, CSK managed to put up a competitive total on the board, thanks in large part to Rahane’s contribution.
