Krafton India Esports addresses FAQ of BGIS 2025 In-Game Qualifiers

The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India 2025 is set to kick off on January 25, 2025 with In-Game Qualifiers. All successfully registered squads/team need to play 15 classic matches with their registered four. Substitute players will not be allowed to play during In-Game Qualifiers. After these 15 matches, best 10 matches of teams will be counted for the qualification of next stage. The top 1016 teams from Open Qualifiers will qualify for Round 1. There are some key rules all players must know before starting their In-Game Qualifiers journey.

Question 1: Do I need to rank up to Platinum 1 again after the rank reset?

Answer – No, we will be using your rank data from: Cycle 7- Season 20

Question 2: Who can participate in the in-game qualifier?

Answer – Any team that successfully registers for BGIS 2025 through the KIE website is eligible to participate in the in-game qualifier. Each player must be at least 16 years old, have a BGMI account level of 30 or higher, and hold a minimum rank of Platinum 1.

Question 3: When will the in-game qualifier take place?

Answer – The qualifier will run from January 25 to February 2, 2025.

Question 4: How many matches does a team need to play?

Answer – Each team must play 15 matches with their registered teammates during the qualifier period.

Question 5: How will the matches be scored?

Answer – Out of the 15 matches, the top 10 matches will be considered for evaluation.

Question 6: What happens if two teams have the same score?

Answer – If there’s a tie, rankings will be decided based on:

• Finishes
• Survival time
• Accuracy, and other related factors

Question 7: How many teams will move to Round 1?

Answer: The top 1,016 teams from the in-game qualifier will qualify for BGIS 2025 Round 1.

Question 8: Can I change my team members after registering?

Answer – No, only the team members you registered with can play in the qualifier. Make sure your team is finalized before registering.

Question 9: Can matches be played outside the given dates?

Answer – No, all 15 matches must be completed within the qualifier period (January 25 to February 2, 2025). Matches played outside this time frame will not count.
