The Indian BGMI esports scene could soon witness another major tournament, as reports suggest that the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2026 is expected to begin on August 10. While Nodwin Gaming has not officially confirmed the schedule, the reported start date has already created excitement among fans.
BGMS has grown to become one of the most popular third-party BGMI events in India, featuring some of the best teams in the country.
BGMS 2026 Returns for Another Season
It was reported by letsgrowesports, that BGMS 2026 would be launched in the second week of August. BGMS is managed by Nodwin Gaming and has established itself as a highly popular tournament owing to its competitive gameplay and TV broadcasting.
Throughout the past years, there have been some highly celebrated winners at BGMS. Global Esports won the first edition in 2022, whereas Gladiators Esports became the winner of 2023. In 2024, iQOO Soul became the champion team after winning the Grand Finals and claiming a huge portion of the ₹1 crore prize pool.
Now, everyone is looking forward to see who wins in 2026 edition.

GodLike and Orangutan to Join Later
One of the biggest talking points surrounding BGMS 2026 is the participation of GodLike Esports and Orangutan Gaming.
Both these teams are currently busy preparing for Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, which is planned to be held from 6th to 16th August. Due to their commitments on the global front, these two teams will be participating in the BGMS competition post their participation in the EWC.
In fact, their delayed entry in the competition would make things all the more exciting because both the teams have been one of the best BGMI teams in the country.
