Today, PUBG MOBILE Esports has shared further details of the many additions and changes coming to the esports circuit this year. This follows the initial reveal of this year’s roadmap at the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) in Bangkok last December. Check out the more information on PMGO 2026 Season 1, PMWC 2026, PMGO 2026 Season 2, and PMGC 2026 Below.

PMWC 2026 and PMGC 2026 Details Announced

As announced at the 2025 PMGC, this year’s PUBG MOBILE Esports circuit is set to be bigger and better than ever before. Among this format shakeup is the introduction of an additional PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) season. With this, the 2026 competitive season will kick off with the PMGO Season 1, with registration opening in February and the Grand Finals commencing in June.

PMGO 2026 Season 1 And PMGO 2026 Season 2

PUBG MOBILE Esports is thrilled to reveal that the PMGO Season 1 Main Event will bring the action to Indonesia. Later in the year, the PMGO Season 2 tournament opens registration in June, with the main event to follow in October, as successful teams face-off live from Pakistan. These tournaments both come with an impressive $500,000 prize pool, providing plenty of motivation for these teams to perform at their best.

Both PMGO events are preceded by the new Road to PMGO format, consisting of in-game qualifiers, followed by national and regional events. For the PMGO Season 1, these in-game qualifiers run from February to March, with the national and regionals kicking off from March to May. Teams must qualify for the national and regional finals by securing points throughout the qualifiers, using the usual scoring system that accounts for eliminations and match placements.

The most successful teams from the Road to PMGO will earn their place in the PMGO Season 1 Main Event in June. Following the same format, the PMGO Season 2 competition will run its in-game qualifiers from June to July, and its national and regionals from July to August, with a short month-long break before the Main Event in October.

More than 200 countries will participate in the in-game qualifiers, drawing out talent from across the globe, and allowing further opportunities for amateur players to prove themselves on the world stage. Fans can expect to see their home countries represented across more national and regional competitions than ever before, with events taking place in Southeast Asia and South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Turkiye, Western Europe, the Americas, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Africa.
