The PUBG Mobile 4.2 Update beta brings exciting changes to Metro Royale, headlined by the addition of the Glacix Arbiter, a new Fabled melee weapon with a unique chance to one-shot PvE enemies and bandits. This special weapon is available exclusively in Chapter 30 and drops from zombie-type monsters or map bosses. Once equipped, it remains in your inventory between seasons and won’t drop after elimination.
Players can now explore the map for Vine Crates, which spawn at random and may contain valuable items that can be sold for high returns. Additionally, a new Fabled sellable item, the Military Drone, can now appear in all types of crates, alongside newly added collectibles.
PUBG Mobile 4.2 Update Beta: World of Wonder Receives Major AI Smart Assistant Update
The World of Wonder (WOW) mode sees major innovation through an expanded AI Smart Assistant system. The updated version lets creators automatically generate skeletal animations from uploaded videos, perfect for custom skills and visual programming.
Another new feature introduces 3D grouped object generation, allowing creators to design map scenery purely from text descriptions. The Smart Assistant now also supports floating windows, interface scaling, and map-specific edit histories that are stored for up to seven days.

PUBG Mobile 4.2 Update Weapon Balance Changes
The update also refines Classic Mode, improving the feel of climbing through windows for smoother movement. Weapon adjustments slightly rebalance gameplay — AKM, M762, ACE32, Honey Badger, and Mk47 damage have been increased by 2 points, while Groza gains 1 point. Conversely, shotguns such as S686, S1897, NS2000, S12K, DBS, and M1014 now deal marginally less base damage, with slightly more randomness in bullet spread.
Home System Enhancements
Players can now experience the Fated Connection feature in Home Mode. After forming a connection, you can host a Fated Ceremony with your in-game partner for additional interaction options.
