Team Secret has claimed victory in TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX SIEGE X at the Esports World Cup aka EWC 2025. They dominated the competition in an undefeated playoffs run, taking the grand final with a 3-0 sweep over G2 Esports. As a result, Team Secret will claim $750,000 of the $2,000,000 prize pool for their win against G2 Esports.
Team Secret Crowned Rainbow Six Siege X at EWC 2025 Champions
This win marks Team Secret’s first-ever major victory in Rainbow Six Siege, and their first placement in the top eight at the Esports World Cup. Despite a strong showing in the group and playoff stages, Team Secret only came into the R6 Siege X at EWC 25 event as the third-place side from Europe, so the expectations of them winning their first major were low. However, the side fought against the odds to pick up a historic first major.
Team Secret’s most difficult game came against Team Falcons on day one, where they knocked the favourites and EWC 24 winning roster down into the lower bracket. Team Falcons were subsequently eliminated on day one, leaving their title defense wide open. Having been the side to knock Team Falcons into the lower bracket, it was fitting that Team Secret went on to pick up the win. After not losing a game during their group stage run, and two clean 2-0 wins over Weibo Gaming and SpaceStation Gaming during their semifinal and quarterfinal bouts, Team Secret continued their flawless streak into the grand final.

Their victory in the R6 Siege X at EWC 25 competition is also the first time Team Secret have even reached a major grand final, making their 3-0 victory even sweeter. For a team that has been involved in the Rainbow Six Siege scene since 2018, it’s fitting that they finally win a major tournament for a game they have supported for a long time.
Following an incredible run throughout the tournament, Team Secret’s support, Adrian “Adrian” Tryka, was named the SONY MVP, and he will earn an additional $10,000 and the MVP medal for his strong showings in each game. His efforts put Team Secret on the path to victory. Asked what he wants to conquer next, he said, “The Majors and the Six Invitational will be the next step.”
With this victory, Team Secret earned 1000 Club Championship points, their very first points gain of the EWC 25 so far, and marks them as the 15th team to win a championship title during the competition. To be eligible to claim a share of the Club Championship prize pool, they next need to claim a top-eight finish in their next game, which is Rocket League in Week 6.
