WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Results: Rhea Ripley, Gunther and Bron Breakker retain their titles, Fatu lays waste to Strowman and more

WWE Saturday Night’s main Event saw WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defend their titles successfully. The high-octane contract signing between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, which was moderated by Shawn Michaels, saw KO mess up with the legend only to be taught a lesson with a Sweet Chin Music. Jacob Fatu reminded Braun Strowman as to why he was the Bloodline’s Enforcer as he laid waste to the Monster Among All Men. Last but not the least, Bron Breakker continued his dominant run as Intercontinental Champion as he defeated Sheamus.

The “Heartbreak Kid” moderated the contract signing between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Both wrestlers, who have been battling it out over the last few months, were supposed to hand over their titles to the legend as they gear up for a ladder match at Royal Rumble 2025. The segment ended with Michaels delivering a Sweet Chin Music to KO after the latter ignored Michaels’ handshake, attempted the banned Piledriver and took a cheap shot at Cody.
