WWE Raw Results – Finn Balor beat Damian Priest: The two superstars locked up and went toe-to-toe throughout the entire contest. A main event caliber performance with both superstars showing the top notch talent they have. As we reached towards the end of the match, Balor struck with a Coup de Grace and pinned Priest to become the new United States Champion. This is the first time time Finn Balor has won the United States Championship.

Post the match, something happened that no one ever expected. Post the defeat, Damian Priest grabbed the microphone vented his emotions out. He claimed the fans carried Balor to winning the US Title. He says he never received that love and motivation throughout his reign.

Priest then attacked Balor and assaulted him. He then delivered a power bomb to Finn Balor onto the announce table and left him laid out cold. The former United States Champion sent an immediate and a huge message to The Prince.

Damian Priest has his mandatory rematch clause pending with him which he can use within thirty days of losing the Championship. We are four weeks away from WWE WrestleMania 38 and Priest in all likelihood challenge Balor for the United States Championship.
With WrestleMania being two nights and ample of space available, this match will happen for sure. The two superstars are bright, talented and surely will make their place. As Damian Priest turns heel on Raw, this story gets just more interesting heading into WrestleMania.
