WWE News: Triple H “severely underwhelmed” with the performance of few of the returning superstars

Now a tweet from WrestleVotes reported that “a handful of talent” has “underperformed” and failed to impress the WWE management. It was also mentioned that the performances have left Triple H and others “severely underwhelmed.” The names of the underperforming talent were kept under wraps although a few of them were subject to criticism on social media due to their performance being not up to the mark.

“I’m told a handful of talent brought back in the ‘rehiring wave’ over the summer have underperformed and severely underwhelmed Triple H & others since returning to the company,”

WWE News: WWE and Triple H hired a horror writer to plot Bray Wyatt’s return

As the list of underperforming superstars has not been revealed, it will be a surprise if Bray Wyatt is found on that list.

Triple H had earlier stated that Wyatt’s return had boosted the viewership numbers of Extreme Rules by a large percentage. Now WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon has explained that Triple H pulled off a master stroke by hiring a horror writer for the White Rabbit campaign which was aired for several weeks leading to the return of the wrestler.

When you think about the changes that he’s [Paul Levesque] made, the talent that he’s brought back, but not only just bringing back stars but how he’s doing that. But for example, we were bringing back one of our biggest stars named Bray Wyatt whose character is a little bit of a cult-type leader and we used a multimedia approach and hired a horror writer [Rob Fee] to come in and really help us craft this narrative so that our fans were engaged,” said McMahon. “We started doing Q.R. codes randomly in the background. Like if a Q.R. code just popped up behind us and you guys clicked on it, it took you to a link — there is no Q.R. code — but it took you to a link where there was a hangman game and then you saw this white rabbit show up. It’s what we call The White Rabbit Project.” (via Wrestlezone)
