As per the recent reports, The Rock’s return is still in the shadows as he is yet to finalize his date for the big match at WrestleMania. Although the People’s Champ hinted at the battle between the Samoans on several occasions, WWE is yet to lock him in for the 39th edition of WrestleMania.

Recently, Wrestling Observer Radio detailed the current situation of the Hollywood star and how much time he has got to make up his mind. Apparently, time is running out for both sides.
“Here’s the situation. If Dwayne Johnson is on Mania, he’s wrestling Reigns. That is not off the boards at all, nor is it a lock. So there have to be back-up plans put in place. Right now if anyone says that there is a main event locked in for Mania, they are dead wrong because nothing is for certain. Basically the idea is Dwayne Johnson has to make up his mind, and most likely a final date would best be just before the Rumble so they could start main event plans at the Rumble show.” [H/T Inside The Ropes]

Earlier, there were rumors regarding Roman Reigns working on both nights of WrestleMania 39. However, Ringside News reported that there were no such plans discussed. With just a few weeks remaining for the Road to WrestleMania, the future of Roman Reigns vs The Rock will be decided.

Currently, Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his Undisputed Universal Title against Kevin Owens and soon WWE will officially announce the match card.
