WWE News- Rey Mysterio’s special gift for Bad Bunny: Bad Bunny entered the Royal Rumble at number 27 and put on an impressive display. He put on a terrific performance eliminating the likes of Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler. Bunny also collaborated well with Rey Mysterio to eliminate Dolph Ziggler.
Just like everyone in the WWE Universe, even Rey Mysterio was impressed with the performance of Bad Bunny. Post the match backstage, Mysterio gifted Bunny with his mask that he wore and had a warm exchange in Spanish.

WWE News- Rey Mysterio’s special gift for Bad Bunny: Rey Mysterio was so touched that he didn’t even notice that his half face could be seen on camera while gifting his mask to Bad Bunny. In Lucha tradition, the mask is considered very sacred and is never taken out.
Bad Bunny and his history with the WWE
The award winning singer has claimed on multiple occasions of being a childhood fan of pro-wrestling and the WWE. Bunny made his WWE debut at Royal Rumble 2021 where he performed a song for and with Booker-T.
Days later, he went on to feud with The Miz and John Morrsion. Fellow Puerto Rican Damien Priest helped Bunny win the 24/7 Championship. The two continued to ally together as their fued with Miz and Morrison went on.

At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest to face The Miz and John Morrision. Even though there were huge names on the WrestleMania 37 matchcard, Bad Bunny’s performances were easily in the top five of the night if not top three. It is safe to say Bad Bunny’s performance was the best celebrity in-ring performance in history.
