WWE Raw Results and Highlights: Check out the big highlights and what happened on WWE Monday Night RAW Episode on February 1: The Royal Rumble fallout edition of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The show kicked off with an imperious segment between Brock Lesnar and the All-Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. The night also featured a spree of Elimination Chamber qualifying matches, and it all ended with this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match winner Ronda Rousey’s segment. Ronda Rousey in the ring- The 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner Ronda Rousey is in the ring and she was all business. Ronda Rousey said that she will announce which champion she would face at Wrestlemania 38. She said she will make her call this Friday night when she makes her way to Smackdown.

Ronda was done talking and was leaving the ring before Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch made her way to the ring. She came face to face with Ronda and asked her to reveal her choice of which champion she would face at Wrestlemania 38.

Ronda grabbed her from her arm and dropped him on the mat telling her loud and clear that she would make her announcement on Friday Night.

Ronda left the ring, and Becky seemed irate with the way she got treated by Ronda. Becky was furious and all of a sudden someone very special made her way to the ring.

It was the WWE Hall of Famer Lita who made her way to the ring and said how rude was Ronda to a legend like Becky Lynch.

She added, how rude was Ronda to a fighting champion like Becky Lynch. Lita said that she knows Becky doesn’t back down any challenge and she is a fighting champion, and therefore she challenged her for the title at Elimination Chamber PPV. Becky wasn’t falling for this and clearly rejected the challenge.

Lita then said, okay if she is scared of her then she completely understands. But this tricked Becky who accepted the challenge but looked perplexed after making her call. The night ended with Lita leaving the ring all happy.

 

 

AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio- As the bell rang, both men showed respect to each other by shaking hands. They then got locked in a wrestling lock, before Styles took down Rey with a waist lock. Both men were displaying their technical skills and wen witnessed a few Hurricane Rana from Rey, meanwhile, Styles came with offense of his own.

The action shifted outside the ring when AJ sent Rey outside but the latter landed on his feet. AJ tried following Rey, with a dive from the top rope, but Rey got out of harm’s way, entered the ring, and went for a slide from underneath the bottom rope but landed badly as AJ got his knees up on time.

Styles lifted Rey in a Firman carry, but a Hurricane Rana from Rey saw AJ bashing into the barricade. We now head into commercials.

After the commercials, we saw both men inside the ring and giving their all to qualify for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match. Both men were going back & forth with their offense. AJ held Rey on the top turnbuckle and wanted to launch himself from the top, but Rey countered it and slid out of his grip.

Rey then pulled AJ down, set him up for a 619, and nailed it perfectly. He then went to the top turnbuckle and went for a suicide dive, but AJ got up and was clear of harm’s way. Rey grabbed him from behind and went for a cruiserfix pinfall, but AJ survived again. AJ then tried going for a Styles Clash, but Rey countered it with a sunset flip.

Rey then once again went to the top rope, but while landing Styles caught Rey in a Styles Clash and nailed it perfectly to win the match and qualify for the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match.

Backstage- Chad Gable and Otiz get interviewed backstage. After winning the Scooter Race, Gable chose the next and final challenge for RK-Bro. Next week the two teams would be competing in a Quiz Bowl.

 

 

Alexa Bliss- The doctor presents Alexa Bliss with a replica of Lilly, which he bought from WWEshop.com.

 

Bianca Belair vs. Carmella- Before the bell could have rung, Carmella’s drams started. She went outside to wear jer protective mask and then she finally returned to the ring. The match started and Carmella was held by Bianca Belair from around her waist.

Bianca slammed Carmella on the mat by holding her from her waist, but Carmella then stood up started trash-talking and slapped Bianca on her face. Bianca was irate after the slap and Carmella decided to run away from her. Carmella was running around the ringside and Bianca gave her a chase.

Carmella tricked Bianca as when the latter entered inside the ring, Carmella unleashed with a series of stomping strikes. Carmella was making it tough for Bianca to get back into the match as she took her to the corner and continued with her stomps.

Carmella’s offenses were tailored well, but Bianca didn’t take much time to get over the attacks and came out with offenses of her own. Ultimately it took only one Kiss of Death for Bianca to pin Carmella.

Otis vs. Riddle- Before the match could have started, Adam Pearce came out and raised the stakes by making it an Elimination Chamber qualification match. The winner would qualify for the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match.

As the bell rang, Riddle and Otis teed off and it was the latter who looked in total control and was getting the better of Riddle with utmost ease. Otis was literally toying with Riddle, and it was becoming hard for Riddle to contain Otis’ assault.

Riddle was struggling and struggling badly. He was being brutalized and we saw Otis shoulder blocking and clotheslining Riddle again and again whenever the latter was trying to gain some momentum. After going through some brutal beating, Riddle finally got something out of his notes when he took Otis to the corner and build some momentum with his attacks.

Riddle rocked Otis with two knee strikes on his forged his way onto the top turnbuckle for a moonsault. He landed on Otis’ knee who got hurt. Riddle then went on the other turnbuckle and this time went for a reverse moonsault and rolled Otis for a pinfall win. Riddle was elated, meanwhile, Otis was distraught.

Time for the conclusion of the Scooter Race- The two competitors were approaching the finish line near the ringside, but Chad Gable tumbled on the floor.

Now Riddle was on the verge to reach the finishing line first, but Otis came out of nowhere and bashed into Riddle.

Riddle was on the floor, and Gable took the advantage to cross the finishing line and win the Scooter race. After the race got over, Riddle blamed Gable for cheating and asked him for a one-on-one match. Gable agreed to the match, but against Otis.

 

 

Angelo Dawkins vs. Dolph Ziggler- As soon as the bell rang, Dolph Ziggler was all over Angelo Dawkins. He was quick with his offense and wrapped his arm around Dawkins’ neck. He then sent Dawkins into the corner and was dominating him for good. Dolph tried a running splash on the corner, but this time Dawkins hit him with a slap on the face and all of a sudden, Dawkins found his mojo.

The momentum shifted for the first time during the match, and it was Angelo Dawkins who was on the money now and stunned Ziggler with his speed and quick moves. In the closing moments of the match, Ziggler was setting himself up for a superkick, but Dawkins countered it with a rolling DDT finisher and secured a win over the former World Champion.

Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory- The match started after the commercials. Kevin Owens was looking on the money with his offense as he was unloading with strike after strike with utmost ease.

Theory was finding it tough to contain Kevin Owens, but after a while, he was up with his offense and ensured that he had Owens in his grasps. Momentum was shifting every minute, and we saw Theory intentionally going outside the ring to buy himself some valuable time.

He first went outside but Owens sent him to the barricade and then nailed a perfect Cannon Ball. He then rolled Theory back in the ring, but Theory opted to roll out again. Theory was near the steel steps this time and when Owens followed him, he hit Owens with a superkick and slammed the back of his head on the steel steps. We now head into commercials.

After the commercials, we saw both men in the ring and Owens hit Theory with a step up enzegurie. Owens then went to the top turnbuckle and tried going for a Swanton, but Theory got out of harm’s way and hit Owens with a unique neckbreaker.

Theory then lifted Owens in a Fireman carry position and tried going for his finisher ATL, but Owens somehow got out of it. The match continued and we were seeing some proper resilience from both the men. We saw a top rope maneuver from Owens where he hit a back suplex on Theory, but the latter managed to survive by putting his left leg on the bottom rope before the three counts.

In the closing moments of the show, we saw both men fighting outside the ring near the announce table. However, when Owens lifted Theory for a Powerbomb on the apron, Theory went inside the ring through the ropes and while Owens was making his way into the ring, Theory intentionally kicked on the middle rope that hit hard on Kevin’s balls. Theory took advantage, hit an ATL, and made his way into the Chamber match.

The Kevin Owens Show- Kevin Owens started off by telling how stupendous the two-night Wrestlemania 38 is going to be this year. He then said that he will make sure that he enters the Elimination Chamber match by beating the overprotected Austin Theory.

He then called out his special guest for the show who happened to be his new best friend Seth Rollins. Seth wasn’t 100% after he got attacked by Roman the other night at Royal Rumble. He came to the ring and said despite not being 100% he had to come for the show and for the lively people of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Owens then congratulated Seth Rollins for his impressive performance against Roman Reigns at the Rumble and told him that Roman intentionally disqualified the bout because he knew he can’t beat him. Seth then said that all is said and done and he would return to Roman soon to take the Universal title, but for now, he is on Raw and he wants to talk business.

He then told Owens and the WWE Universe that he is entering the Elimination Chamber match. Owens was happy with the announcement but asked Seth if he could help him talk to Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce and ask them if he (Owens) could also make it to the Chamber without the qualification bout. Before Seth could have answered anything, Austin Theory came out for his match against Owens.

 

 

The Miz vs. Dominik Mysterio- The Miz was trying to play with Dominik Mysterio treating him like a newbie and disrespecting him. However, Dominik was good with his offense and almost hit him with a 619 at one point.

The Miz evaded the 619 by going outside the ring and trash-talked with Rey Mysterio and pushed him back near the announce table. The Miz then got into the ring exchanged a few offenses with Dominik and tricked the referee by falling onto the mat and claiming that Rey pulled his legs from under the bottom rope.

The referee fell into Miz’s trick and ejected Rey Mysterio from the ringside, while Rey was making his exit, Dominik got distracted as he shifted his focus on his father, and from behind The Miz hit him with a skull-crushing finale to win the match.

Alexa Bliss with the Psychologist- Alexa Bliss continued to attend her sessions. The doctor was once again throwing questions at Alexa Bliss related to Lilly, and the former was answering them.

 

 

Backstage- Chad Gable & Riddle start off with challenge #2, The Scooter Race. The first man to complete 50 laps of the arena will be the winner. The two men started the race backstage.

 

 

Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki A.S.H- A delusional Nikki A.S.H tried to go after a powerful Rhea Ripley right from the outset, but Rhea was easily overpowering her former tag-team partner. After a vertical suplex from Rhea, Nikki went outside the ring to buy herself some time and when Rhea followed her, she tricked Rhea by sticking her between the apron cloth and unloading her attacks. We now head into commercials.

As we returned from commercials, both ladies were in the ring and Nikki was the one nailing her attacks. However, the attacks didn’t last for long as Rhea was back with her offense. Some, short arm jabs, along with a kick under the chin completely rocked Nikki.

Nikki was trying desperately to go back & forth with her offense, but Rhea was too strong for her to contain. In the closing moments, we saw Nikki trying to go for her finisher, but Rhea countered it with a Rip Tide and won the match via Pinfall.

Adam Pearce in the ring- WWE Official Adam Pearce is in the ring and he announces that the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will be defending his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. As Pearce was speaking, Lashley’s music hit and he came out with MVP.

MVP took the mic and started speaking. He wasn’t impressed with Adam Pearce putting Bobby Lashley in the Elimination Chamber and said it is unfair for the Champion to compete in a demonic structure like Elimination Chamber just 3 weeks or so after the Royal Rumble PPV event. Bobby Lashley then took the same and said he should be celebrating his title victory instead of entering the Elimination Chamber.

As Bobby Lashley was speaking, Brock Lesnar entered the scene. He came out took the mic and told Bobby that he knows, everyone knows that at Royal Rumble he didn’t beat him, instead, he was screwed by Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns. Lesnar then added that he will not face Lashley at Wrestlemania 38, but he will go after Roman Reigns.

Lesnar continued speaking and said that he will face Roman Reigns in the main event of Wrestlemania because Roman & Paul screwed him, but he would enter the Show of Shows as the WWE Champion and face Roman in a Title vs Title match. Lesnar was already in his wrestling gear and challenged Bobby to put his title on the line right now and provoked him for the same by talking trash.

Bobby was pissed and was raring to fight Lesnar, but MVP held him back. In the end, MVP & bobby Lashley left the ring, meanwhile, Adam Pearce announced that Brock Lesnar will be among the 5 competitors to enter the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship match.
