WWE News: Kevin Owens Reflects on His WWE Career After facing Stone Cold Steve Austin
Many fans recognized the match as one of the best matches at WrestleMania. It was also Steve Austin’s best match at WrestleMania, where he returned to the ring after 19 years to face Kevin Owens.
Recently, Kevin Owens appeared on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast where he recalled his experience of fighting Stone Cold Steve Austin. Eventually, Owes revealed how he felt three weeks after the match.
“It’s all downhill from here, really,” said Owens. “I say that with the most optimistic point of view I can have, and I mean that in a good way. It was really unbelievable. It’s still unbelievable. Sometimes I’ll have my moments where I’m not doing anything, I’m just sitting around, and I’ll pull it up on my phone and I’ll specifically watch the moment where the ref rings the bell.” [H/T Sportskeeda]
Kevin Owens highlights this match as the best match of all time to fight his ideal. Although Kevin Owens was a heel in this match, he still finds it unbelievable after fighting Stone Cold Steve Austin.

What’s next for Kevin Owens?
Kevin Owens resigned his contract with WWE in late 2021. Although he wasn’t aware of the fact that we would get a WrestleMania match against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Currently, Owens is engaged in a feud with Elias’ younger brother Ezekiel.
Last year, Owes was a part of the title picture until he lost at Day 1 PPV. It seems WWE has no big plans for the former Universal Champion. Eventually, Owens fought Cody Rhodes multiple times during dark matches and recently on Raw in a losing effort. The former Universal Champion is competing in random matches.
As per the current status on Raw, Owens’ feud with Ezekiel might up a match against each other in the coming weeks.
