Currently, Cody Rhodes is out of action for a long time in order to recover from his injury. As per WWE, doctors have advised Cody Rhodes will have to go through various therapy sessions and a span of 9 months to recover fully from his torn muscle. However, the American Nightmare has made his own rules to return.
The former Intercontinental Continental Champion has other plans for his return hinting at an early comeback to WWE. Recently, he gave an update on his injury on Instagram, where he mentioned his rehab process.

Rhodes said, “Sling off for rehab – in gym. I’ve heard 9 months, that’s their plan…I’ve never concerned myself with other peoples projections – I’ve got a plan of my own – let’s finish, all of us.”
It seems Cody Rhodes is eagerly waiting to return to the ring for the love of his fans and wrestle again towards his goal of winning the WWE Title. On the other hand, several fans are waiting for Rhodes’ return and speculating on his possible return till next year’s Royal Rumble.

Being sidelined due to a severe injury, Cody Rhodes is likely to have a long break until he steps back in the ring. WWE reported Rhodes’ recovery period to be at least 9 months, which keeps him off from major upcoming Premium Live Events like Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series.
Talking about his possible comeback, it is speculated that he might return before next year’s Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. However, his return could happen early or might be delayed depending on his recovery rate. Also, WWE would like to have Cody back as soon as possible.
