WWE News: Reason for The Rock not appearing at Survivor Series revealed- Despite all the buzz and hype, The Rock didn’t appear at the Survivor Series PPV last night. WWE didn’t leave any stone unturned in promoting the 25th Anniversary of The Rock’s debut at Survivor Series, but still, The Great One was nowhere to be seen at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Despite all the fuss, The Rock not appearing at Survivor Series was a bit of a surprise. However, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed in his latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that The Rock couldn’t appear at Survivor Series because he was overseas in Europe filming a movie.

The Rock was in Europe filming a movie during the Survivor Series PPV, and that is why he couldn’t make it to the PPV event despite all the build-up. He wasn’t officially booked for the PPV event, but the fans anticipated his arrival, especially at his 25th Anniversary celebration.

There was a lot of reference to The Great One’s throughout the night as WWE aired regular vide packages of his classic moments over the years, and Vince McMahon also had Cleopatra’s Golden Egg used in The Rock’s latest Netflix movie Red Notice. Mr. McMahon told everyone that the Golden Egg was gifted to him by The Rock himself.

WWE News: How things went at WWE Survivor Series
The brand supremacy battle at the WWE Survivor Series PPV was won by Monday Night Raw as the thrashed Friday Night Smackdown 4-2 in overall matches score. Smackdown’s twin wins came in the form of Roman Reigns defeating Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura defeating Damian Priest via DQ. The rest of the matches were won by Monday Night Raw.
