Survivor Series 2021 will mark his 25 years in the company, and WWE has already started celebrating this monumental anniversary of the People’s champ on their social media handles and YouTube channel by uploading the clips of his greatest matches over the years.
For quite a while now, the rumor mill has been making loud noise over a possibility of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns in a dream match, possibly main-eventing Wrestlemania, at some stage. The two cousins have never faced each other in a WWE ring before, which makes the WWE Universe restless for this mega showdown at some stage.

Recently, Roman Reigns appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, where he was asked about his thoughts on facing The Rock at an upcoming WrestleMania. Roman said that he would love to lock horns with his cousin, but he doesn’t know if he (The Rock) wants the same.
“I would, yes. I don’t know if he wants it, but yeah. It’s something we do in our family, as far as sports entertainment, WWE, professional wrestling. This is our platform, our family business. I fought one of my cousins the Usos, Jey Uso, about a year ago, and where better to solve problems than the squared circle?”
Furthermore, Fallon asked Roman about the rumors of The Rock making some sort of appearance at the Survivor Series this Sunday for his 25th Anniversary celebrations. Roman revealed that he hasn’t heard any of these rumors.

There’s no robust news on whether The Rock will appear this Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, to celebrate his 25th Anniversary in WWE. The People’s champ last wrestled 5 years back in 2016 at Wrestlemania 32 against Erick Rowan and defeated him in under a minute.
The Rock and Roman Reigns are two iconic figures of the legendary Samoan pro-wrestling industry. Rock’s father, Roman’s father, and many generations of the family have competed in WWE. Rock & Roman are possibly the most prominent figures of the legendary Samoan wrestling family, and this is why the WWE Universe wants to see these two lock horns in a WWE ring once before the People’s Champ finally hangs his wrestling boots for good.

The Rock is a full-fledged Hollywood star now and rarely makes an appearance for WWE. People were buzzing that he might make his way to Survivor Series this Sunday and have some sort of program involving Roman Reigns. They were rumors that the two cousins could eventually set the tone for their dream match at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas at Survivor Series, but nothing has been confirmed from WWE. Let’s just hope we get to hear, “If you can smell…” this Sunday night so that the audience present at the arena in huge numbers go bonkers.
