Among all the games played during the qualifiers, it is worth mentioning that the most exciting part was the win by them against their biggest rivals, Paper Rex (PRX). Previously, the two teams had met on nine occasions, but Global Esports had never won any game against PRX.

However, on May 8, GE managed to end the streak, winning against Paper Rex in the Upper Semifinals in a 2-1 game. Following that, the team also defeated another competitor, RRQ, in the Upper Round 1, winning 2-0. As a result, Global Esports won the first Pacific slot for London.
