Magic mushrooms are a known love of the UFC commentator. On his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan has frequently discussed psychedelic drugs. He has consistently asserted that psychedelics are remarkable for the human brain and help people live simple lives. It is very evident from his most recent post of an Amanita muscaria mushroom on Christmas 2022 that the stand-up comedian celebrated the birth of Jesus in a different reality.

UFC News: Joe Rogan took magic mushrooms during the pandemic
Due to his divisive viewpoint on the COVID-19 virus and associated vaccination, Joe Rogan was in the spotlight during the pandemic. The well-known podcaster also came under fire for the guests he chose to appear on his program, particularly eminent cardiologists Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone.
Folk musician Neil Young organized a boycott of Spotify in opposition to the service’s endorsement of Rogan. The UFC color commentator acknowledged that some people find it challenging to handle such conflicts. Rogan claimed that he consumed magic mushrooms daily to combat the negativity. The 52-year-old said to fellow podcaster and AI researcher Lex Fridman:
“I used magic mushrooms. That was one approach I took. I exercised a lot and only took a little bit of the drug each day. He continued going through anything challenging or trying has many benefits. It allows you to develop and express yourself under pressure, revealing your actual self and demonstrating how you react under trying circumstances.”
