Nate Diaz might be in trouble: Nate Diaz being inactive in UFC for a year with his last two losses to Leon Edwards and Jorge Masvidal his awaiting his last fight in the contract.

Fans expected a trilogy bout with his prominent rival Conor McGregor to be his last fight. However, Conor McGregor’s comeback is not yet confirmed. The Stockholm fighter has his skills polished for any potential next opponent.

While Khamzat Chimaev is rumored to have his next opponent. The mixed martial arts spectrum has witnessed the stunning rise of Khamzat Chimaev in UFC.

Chimaev upgraded his undefeated record  (11-0-0) by defeating Burns at UFC 273 via a unanimous decision.

For ‘Borz’, UFC 273 was a tough fight. He didn’t dominate Burns like in his prior fights. “Durinho” was severely injured in the first round, but returned in the second round with his trademark heavy punches, engaging both of them in an intense battle.

Gilbert Burns was one of the elite fighters in the welterweight division, and Chimaev surely equalized it and finally dominated and won the fight.

Henry Cejudo in The Triple C show spoke about UFC’s decision to make Nate Diaz fight Khamzat Chimaev.

Henry Cejudo, “Yeah, right now the UFC, I think they want, they want to feed him to a shark. That’s why they’re trying to kill… Because Diaz knows that there’s so much money to be made outside the UFC, that he doesn’t even care what millions they’re gonna end up giving him.”

“I do believe that Nate leaving the UFC is just going to generate more money for fighters, and kind of giving that leverage to fighters like Hey man, it’s not the UFC, is not the only place where you can make a good living.”

Nate Diaz has his own legacy in the UFC. The gangster might be a tough opponent for Khamzat Chimaev, but the fight would be stunning, as both are heavy hitters.

Nothing has been officially confirmed by the fight organization yet.
