Alex Pereira 205 Lbs Debut: Alex Pereira, the Brazilian MMA and kickboxer athlete, recently announced his move to the 205-pound weight category. Interestingly, he announced this news right after his fight with the former UFC champion Israel Adesanya, Pereira suffered a brutal knock out in the second round in UFC-287.

Meanwhile, Pereira has announced his decision to move up a division and expressed his confidence in being able to fight his opponent even if he stayed in the same division.

He clarified that he was not moving up due to weight issues and could make the weight anytime. UFC veteran and commentator, Michael Bisping, has now shared his thoughts on the matter. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

But before here what Bisping speaks about Perrira’s next move let’s hear Perrira first, ‘”My next fight will be at 205, yeah, you heard right.
My next fight will be at 205. I think I did my work at 185, and now I’m feeling good to go up to 205.”

“Like I told you, when l°m feeling good, I will go up. This will be something natural, and now I think it is.”

He added, “My next opponent, I can’t tell you, but I will keep you updated here on my channel. But as well, I want to make one thing clear: The division 185, I always made weight. A lot of people had doubts, but I always fulfilled my obligation. But now it’s the moment to go up to the next division. This will be better for me.”

Alex Pereira made his move to 205-pound and Bisping thinks he is making a mistake by moving up to light heavyweight category, let’s hear what Bisping thinks, “It’s shock he says he can make way okay.”

“It’s one a piece in the UFC against these guys in my opinion the rubber should happen now of course it’s his choice he want to go to 205. And try you know different challenges try and become the champion there and probably see if Izzy moves up to 205 to challenge him there but it is a head scratcher.”

He stated, “Listen is it is absolute global mega star okay you went out you beat him in round five last time you became the champ you became global sensation himself the champion of the world UFC. I mean titles don’t get much more prestigious it’s right there all he has to do is campaign for it and he could get that fight so I don’t understand it there’s a lot of people in the sports that feel the same way.”

Despite Pereira’s explanation for moving up a weight class, Michael Bisping remains unconvinced and puzzled by the decision, particularly since Pereira had been achieving success in the 185-pound division. Bisping suggests that only time will reveal the true motivations behind the move.
