Israel Adesanya Breaks Conor McGregor Record

In just five short years, Israel Adesanya has already made a huge impact on the UFC. Despite his relatively short time with the company, he has managed to break multiple records. It’s worth noting that only six fighters in UFC history have main evented more PPVs than Adesanya, which is an incredible accomplishment considering the relatively short time he has been with the company.

While fighters like Randy Couture, Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz, Jon Jones, and Georges St-Pierre have headlined more than 13 events each, with Couture leading the pack with over 18 PPV events, Adesanya is well on his way to joining this elite group of fighters.

In fact, Adesanya will make his 10th PPV headlining appearance in the upcoming battle, which is a significant achievement for any fighter, let alone one who has only been with the company for a few years.

It’s easy to see why Adesanya has become such a huge draw for fans around the world. As he continues to make his mark on the sport, there’s no telling what other records he might break or awards he might earn. One thing is for sure, though – Adesanya is a force to be reckoned with in the world of UFC.
