Manika eyes Gold after disappointing Women’s team campaign
Manika Batra and the women’s contingent faced a disappointing exit in the Women’s team event, having bowed out in the quarterfinal. She is the defending champion in the Women’s singles category having won Gold in 2018. she will be out to defend her crown.
Manika will also have her eyes on the Women’s doubles title as well having won silver medal at Gold Coast in 2018. She will be in action along with Diya Chitale. While Sreeja Akula and Reeth Tennison will carry the flag for the other team.
Men’s Team eyes more glory
The Men’s team earlier won Gold medal in the men’s team event and will be eyeing more glory as they start their campaign. India will be represented by the likes of Sanil Shetty, Harmeet Desai, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Sharath Achanta.
The Indian players will have plenty of expectations on their shoulders after winning the Gold medal in Men’s team event.
