An accident at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi left a cricket fan with a face injury during DC vs MI IPL 2024 match. The incident occurred in the 14th over of Mumbai’s innings when Tim David faced Khaleel Ahmed.

Tim David smashed a six off the second-to-last ball of the over, sending it sailing into the stands. A fan tried to catch it but missed, and the ball struck him directly in the face. The impact was strong enough that he had to be taken for medical attention. Onlookers saw him covering his face with a white handkerchief as he left the stands.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians fell to yet another loss as they faced a steep target of 258 to win, after Delhi Capitals racked up 257 for 4 earlier in the day.
