Indrajith was batting on 66 when Jadeja bowled an excellent delivery which took the edge of Indrajith’s bat as Prerak Mankad pouched the catch safely to give Jadeja’s his first wicket of the match. T0 note, Jadeja was denied his first wicket earlier after he dismissed Indrajith earlier but he overstepped. Jadeja bowled 24 overs in the first innings and gave away 48 runs before scalping one wicket.
Jadeja is playing his first game in five months. The 34-year-old underwent surgery for a knee issue he had last year. He was unable to play in the 2022 T20 World Cup due to injury. He was selected for the Bangladesh tour but was unable to participate.
