All 16 teams will play a total of 18 matches from January 21st to 23rd January 2022. From India, Skylightz Gaming was crowned as the champion of the BGIS 2021. But they are unable to fulfill the travel guidelines so they will not able to participate in the upcoming PMGC 2021 Grand Finals. Godlike Esports will represent India in the upcoming Grand finals matches.

The prize pool of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Grand Finals is $3.49 million. The champion of the event will get $1.5 million USD. The first and second runner-up of the finals will receive $600,000 and $300,000 USD respectively. The grand finals will take place from January 21st to 23rd January 2022. Instead of the Lan event, the grand finals will be a semi-Lan event. All teams will play the grand finals on the same server where some teams will be played from a designated venue to compete in the grand finals.
