What is making Ricky Ponting getting upset with Prithvi Shaw? While there can be no argument on Shaw’s talent, consistency has been a major issue with him.

Speaking on Shaw’s dismissal after the match, former Australian batter Ponting said
“He played beautifully in the first game. He didn’t go on and capitalise as he would have liked.

Notably, Shaw scored 38 runs in DC’s opening encounter against Mumbai Indians.
The lad from Mumbai recently failed a yo-yo test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
If he continues to be inconsistent in the IPL, his hopes of getting back in the national side might not come to fruition.
Shaw will look for an improved show in Delhi’s next outing, which is against Lucknow Super Giants on April 7. Till then he will have Ponting’s eyes continuously fixed on him.
