IND vs NZ: Ishan Kishan’s parents at Eden Gardens: Dominant India thrashed New Zealand by 73 runs in the third & final T20I at Eden Gardens on Sunday to clean sweep the Kiwis 3-0. While Rohit Sharma, Axar Patel & debutant Harshal Patel were in the spotlights, India’s backup opener Ishan Kishan too had his share of contributions in the 3rd T20I at Eden Gardens last night. In the latest post shared by Mumbai Indians, Kishan’s parents can be seen having a memorable time at the Eden Gardens. Kishan’s mother and father were in attendance at Eden Gardens last night. Sharing the pictures, Mumbai Indians wrote: “What dreams are made of! We are sure Ishan’s parents had a memorable time at the Eden Gardens last night.” Check out –

Replacing regular opener KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan had a fair outing with the bat as he scored 29 off 21 deliveries, accounting for 69 runs opening partnership India in the 3rd T20I. Surprisingly, Kishan didn’t hit a maximum but slammed 6 x Fours in his handy knock at the top.

Kishan also contributed with his fielding and inflicted a brilliant run-out to send Mitchell Santner packing.

It was the second back-to-back bilateral T20I series triumph with a clean sweep for India after beating the Black Caps 5-0 in their own den in 2020. The focus now shifts towards the 2-match Test series that gets underway in Kanpur from November 25. The 2nd Test will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai from December 03.
