India’s fielding has improved significantly over the years and Ishan Kishan is the latest addition to the team’s battalion of athletic fielders on the ground. Kishan was absolutely at his best on Sunday and inflicted a brilliant run-out to send Mitchell Santner packing. The 23-year-old ran in from the midwicket boundary to the edge of the circle, before picking up the ball quickly and hitting it straight at the stumps.

Santner was not even in the frame as India continued their dominance in the match. Kishan’s run-out saw Indian coach Rahul Dravid cheer gleefully, and he patted fielding coach T Dilip on his back, acknowledging the work his colleague had done during training.
