Suryakumar Yadav has been in terrific form in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. Yadav overtakes Pakistan veteran Mohammad Rizwan on the back of his impressive start to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, where the 32-year-old has registered back-to-back half centuries against the Netherlands and South Africa.
The top batter who made his debut last year has been a revelation for the Men in Blue. Coming to save India with his mega innings each time, Suryakumar Yadav rose through the ranks to achieve the top spot in the rankings.

SKY has been handy with the bat in Australia. In the opening match against Pakistan, he managed to score just 15 runs, however, he roared back to form with an unbeaten 51 against Netherlands. In India’s third game he played a fiery knock of 68 against the Proteas and powered his way to a 16-ball 30-run knock against Bangladesh today.
Yadav has already registered eight half-centuries and one brilliant century in T20I this year and his two most recent knocks in Australia indicate there is more to come from the attacking right-hander.
