Competitive gamers now have something big to look forward to as an event this year. Street Fighter 6 has been confirmed by the Esports Foundation to be the 16th and last game that will make its debut in the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026. It is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this November, marking a change in perspective of competitive gaming from club-based to nation-centric.

Street Fighter 6 in ENC 2026: A Unique 4v4 Team Format

Unlike the traditional fighting games that have a 1v1 match, Street Fighter 6 at ENC will have a special 4v4 Team Battle mode that has never been seen before. There will be a total of 24 national teams participating in this tournament in order to win the gold medal. Matches will be played between November 18 and November 22, 2026.

The competition will start with the group stage where the participating nations will be grouped into four different rounds consisting of six nations each. All the matches in the group stage will be conducted in a best-of-four format. Following that, the top four nations in each group will proceed to a single elimination knockout round, which will also follow a best-of-four format.
