Check out three teams that Hamilton could join if he leaves Mercedes:

1. Red Bull – Red Bull have a fast car on the grid this year but their reliability issues have been their downfall. Max Verstappen had to retire twice from just three races. If Red Bull gets on top of their issues then they are surely one of the fastest teams present on the grid. Verstappen has recently signed a new contract with Red Bull that will see him drive till 2028. Though Sergio Perez also has a long term contract the possible availability of Hamilton can make them change their plans.

2. Ferrari – Ferrari, on the other hand, are the team who have faced no issues till now in the 2022 season. It looks like they have proper knowledge of their F1-75 car. Their car is quick enough on the straight that no one can catch them and it shows also on the track. Charles has a contract with Ferrari till 2024. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz has a contract with Ferrari till the end of this year, and this situation is something that F1 fans will be following with keen interest.

3. Alpine – Alpine is the third team on the list for Hamilton. So far this season, they have not shown signs that they have a fast car but things can change quickly in Formula 1. Esteban Ocon has a contract with Alpine till 2024 and Fernando Alonso is till the end of this year. Though Red Bull and Ferrari have much faster cars, Alpine could get themselves in the mix.
