While Charles Leclerc of Ferrari was able to secure the top position on the podium, the Red Bull duo was fairly competitive to land second and third. Mercedes has been facing challenges in securing any titles this season, which makes the upcoming game appear less promising. In the Australian GP, Hamilton only managed to secure second place, while his partner Russell is yet to produce any notable results. Even though the seven-time world champion secured the fifth spot in the qualifying round, he urged his team to persevere and continue working hard, as there is still a lot of work to be done.

Meanwhile, a disappointed Russell said, “Of course I want to win two races, three races, ten races, but if I ended my career with one win or ten wins, and no world championships, the difference is nothing.” When asked if he still believes in Mercedes, he responded, “I truly believe Mercedes are the best in the business. It’s all about coming together to push forward.”
