Messi, 36, joined the MLS club this summer after being released by Paris Saint-Germain. After their MLS season got done, Leo was quick to share a post on the club on his social media channels.

In the three months since his July arrival in Florida on a two-and-a-half-year contract, Lionel Messi has inspired David Beckham’s club. On his debut, the Argentine superstar struck an injury-time free kick to give the team their first prize, the Leagues Cup.
Lionel Messi has 11 goals in 14 Inter Miami games and is undoubtedly a fan favourite at the DRV PNK Stadium as his first season comes to a close. He put up a very classy message on Instagram.
Lionel Messi’s post said, ‘Proud of all the team accomplished this season. With the work and effort of everyone, we were able to win the @leaguescup clinching the first title in @opencup history, we made it to the finals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. @mls and were even fighting to get into the @intermiamicf, play-offs almost until the very last moment.’
The post continued, ‘We stayed with all the good things and above all the desire to improve to be even more competitive next year. I would like to thank all the people of the club and the city of Miami for the support they always give us. I’m sure we’ll continue to have amazing moments together as we have in the past few months. A hug for everyone!’
Could Leo move in the winter window?
However, as Inter Miami failed to make the play-offs, Lionel Messi could be loaned out for a short period of time when the winter transfer window reopens. An emotional homecoming to Barcelona is possible. While a Saudi club could try to entice the World Cup winner to the Middle East on a short-term deal before the 2024 MLS season begins in late February.
Although, Lionel Messi has made it clear that he doesn’t intend on moving anywhere right now. While Messi and his teammates were in North Carolina for their final MLS game of the season against Charlotte, his wife went to her all-star lunch.

They were with their friend Isabela Grutman too. Along with Messi, it seems like Antonela is enjoying her life in Miami too. It is safe to say that she wouldn’t want to be moving away anytime soon.
