Ronaldo, who became the highest scoring player of 2023 after bagging four goals in the last two rounds of the Euro qualifiers of Portugal, was commemorated by the Al Nassr management in a unique manner.

The SPL team put up a mural of the Portuguese in the empty stands, and proceeded to write ‘GOAT’ (greatest of all time) in the stands. Will this tribute spur Cristiano Ronaldo on to score against Damac FC? Al Nassr fans will certainly be hoping that’s the case.

Since joining the Saudi Arabia side from Manchester United after a bitter feud with the English club’s management, Ronaldo has hardly put a foot wrong. The Portuguese talisman has scored a total of 31 goals in 36 matches for the Riyadh-based side.
