Lionel Messi favourite dog, Hulk not with him in Miami, Know WHY

Lionel Messi's favourite dog Hulk has not been taken by the family to Miami and he is still in Miami

Since the legendary Argentine relocated to Florida, Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo have embraced life in Miami. But lately, they haven’t been seen with their cherished Bordeaux Mastiff, Hulk. Now, a discovery made by writer Migue Granados, who spoke with the Inter Miami skipper, would disappoint supporters and dog lovers.

Lionel Messi dog, Hulk still in Barcelona

Recently, Granados discussed Lionel Messi’s four-legged family member during an interview on OLGA. When the Messi family bought a Bordeaux Mastiff puppy in 2016, they expanded their family. The huge breed, which can reach heights of 110 pounds and weights of 27 inches, are larger-than-life figures in their own right. When introducing the Hulk to the public, Messi said, ‘New member of my family. Thanks, love, for this beautiful gift.’

Since moving to Florida, the family has regrettably had to leave the aged Hulk at their Castelldefels, Barcelona. Lionel Messi and Roccuzzo have been unable to take Hulk with them to Florida.

Migue Granados revealing on OLGA of the response that he got when asking the Argentine icon where his canine companion is. Migue told, ‘I asked him where that bull was’, and Lionel Messi told, ‘He’s in Barcelona, Hulk is there. He is a little old. So, we had to leave him in the house we have there in Barcelona’.

According to reports, Lionel Messi informed Granados that Hulk was “on the verge” of needing to be put to sleep. This is because Bordeaux Mastiffs only live for five to eight years. Staff at Messi’s opulent home in Castelldefels, a Barcelona suburb around 12 miles from Camp Nou, are presently taking care of the dog.

Being close to France and having previously played for Paris Saint-Germain made it simpler for the family to see Hulk. But now that they have switched continents, they are suddenly separated from their beloved pet. That too, by a distance of more than 4,600 kilometres.

The Argentine icon missed the game against Atlanta United but played against Toronto FC before being injured against Orlando City. Tata Martino said, ‘We will wait until tomorrow. Jordi is difficult but with Lionel Messi we will wait until tomorrow. If it’s not a final, we’re not taking any risks. This is a final and it could bring you a title. It could take 90 or 120 minutes, but if it’s another game we wouldn’t risk it.’
