Jadon Sancho saga is adding more layers and as per reports, the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has contacted Manchester United. Recently, the attacker also deactivated his Instagram account. The 23-year-old year is not even in the main squad of Man United. Sancho has not played for the Red Devils since August 26.
Man United boss Erik ten Hag cleared after the United-Arsenal game at Old Trafford that Sancho was excluded due to sub-par training performances. The whole saga started with Sancho’s remarks on social media. The former Ajax coach wanted the Englishman to apologise over the post. The player didn’t offer any apology. Sancho has been ‘exiled’ from using first-team facilities now.
The Premier League club have already confirmed that Jadon Sancho is working on a personal training programme away from the other players. As per The Times, the PFA is now involved in the story. The organisation has contacted both the club and the player to resolve this matter. They are pushing to assist Jadon Sancho and the Man United boss with solving their differences.
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag spoke about this after the win against Burnley that the return of Sancho was up to the player himself. It’s also confirmed that the England international will not take part in Man United’s EFL Cup fixture against Crystal Palace. Sancho made the public statement ahead of the clash with Brighton and questioned Man United’s culture prior to Erik ten Hag’s arrival.
Jadon Sancho made a statement which reads, “The club asked me, because there was a no-good culture before last season, to set some standards. That’s what I did. It’s my job to control the standards.”
Meanwhile, other clubs are monitoring the situation of Jadon Sancho. Recently, Barcelona have shown interest in him and they can plan a winter move for him. He also got offers from Saudi clubs in the summer transfer window but the deal didn’t happen. Sancho may leave the club in January or Man United can send him on loan for the rest of the season. Even, Borussia Dortmund is looking to get him back on loan in January.
